Day 1 Arrival in Passau
Passau’s historic centre has a very distinct Mediterranean flair about it. Embarkation at approx. 4.30 pm. Sail by night.
Day 2 Schlögen - Linz, 56 km/35 mi, sail by night
Bike handover at the Schlögen river bend, then you will cycle through the romantic Danube valley. The Willhering monastery and the state capital Linz.
Day 3 Tulln - Vienna, 31-49 km/19-30 mi, sail by night
Easy bike tour around the Vienna Woods, to Vienna via Klosterneuburg. Lots of nature, a famous monastery and the metropolis await you. Vienna city tour by night.
Day 4 Visegrád - Budapest, 59 km/35 mi
The bike tour leads through the Danube Bend via Vac and Széntentendre to Budapest. Royal Palace and Basilica are landmarks of Hungarian history.
Day 5 Budapest and bike tour, 22 km/14 mi, sail by night
The morning starts with a 3 hours city tour. In the afternoon you will cycle to the inner city and to the recreational area Danube island margit-sziget. The bridge between the two city halfs Buda and Pest.
Day 6 Bratislava, 36-44 km/22-27 mi, sail by night
After a tour of the old town, you will cycle to the Imperial Castle Eckartstau. Return to the ship or continue via the magnificent Hof Castle and Devin.
Day 7 Krems - Marbach, 53 km/33 mi, sail by night
Today you will cycle through the famous Wachau area and see the magnificent Abbey Melk.
Day 8 Passau and departure
Around 9 am we will be arriving in Passau where this tour "By boat and bike to Budapest" concludes.
